Ray at Night
News
Big changes are coming to rayatnight.
As rayatnight approaches its' 9th anniversary we have some significant changes to this monthly artwalk. You may have noticed that the street has not been closed to traffic for the last couple of months. This is because we are in the process of updating our event permit. Everything should be in place for the August opening.
With our new permit comes a renewed commitment from the galleries to provide the best artwalk experience in San Diego. Our commitment is to showcase the best of the local artist community while maintaining a place for emerging artists to be seen.
Starting in August there will be artist spaces on Ray Street for rayatnight. We hope to have about 20 spaces for artists and the local community. Among this will be:
- - A section for juried artists with a low fee.
- - Reserved space for art students.
- - A featured non-profit every month
- - A space to feature a local resturant.
We'll continue to have live music featuring local bands.
